Hilbert’s Mill

The mill was established in the 1840s. It was built and operated until World War II by members of the Hilbert family. In the 1930s, the Mill was expanded and significantly modernized. It was equipped with electric drive and was one of the largest of its kind in Lower Silesia. After World War II, for the first 10 years, it was managed by the Red Army, and then used by various state enterprises. Without modernization and significant changes in equipment, it operated until the end of 2016. It has been preserved fully complete, illustrating the level of milling technology development from the 1930s.
