The Museum has been developing on the basis of a historic rail engine from the turn of the 19th and 20th centuries and it is located in Dzierżoniów on the rail route between Wałbrzych and Kłodzko. After overhauls and maintenance of the preserved depot buildings and the railway infrastructure, the Museum will exhibit rolling stocks from the years of World War II and afterwards.
There are already regular rides from the Museum in Jaworzyna Śląska to the depot in Dzierżoniów where a collection of historic rail engines is on exhibition. Some of the exhibits in the future Museum will be used to present the development of local industry. There is a plan to prepare an exhibition of historic radios from the well-known production facility “Diora” in Dzierżoniów.
