Modernist concrete hall in HUTMEN complex

At the beginning of October 2018 the Foundation had prepared and filed in local office for monuments protection documents allowing to put concrete industrial hall in the HUTMEN complex on list of the monuments. The application was accompanied by monument cards prepared by the Foundation’s team.

The facility is located in the complex of the non-iron metal processing plant HUTMEN S.A. at Grabiszyńska 241 in Wrocław. The hall was built in 1971. The hall was to be not only a functional industrial facility, but also a showcase of the city that was rebuilt from the war damage. Undoubtedly, it is one of the most important monuments of modernist architecture in Wroclaw.

The Foundation will keep you informed about the matter,
